Radio shuttle is a semi-automated storage and retrieval system that allows for maximum use of warehouse space. Easily managed with remote control, the Radioshuttle pallet shuttle is loaded into storage loads and executes orders to load or unload pallets into a lane.
Its Advantage As Follows
The shuttle trays are more expensive, but there are four advantages to employing them:
(1) The storage capacity is large;
(2) The forklift does not need to enter the racking systems when using shuttle trays; the majority of forklifts may be equipped with a pallet freight access system.
(3) The stability of the racking systems is increased because the forklift does not enter them, allowing pallet cargo to enter on one side and leave on the other. The overall number of cargo types may increase as a result of the possibility of holding the same cargo on each level of the guard rail.
(4) The radio shuttle racking systems are equipped with shuttle trays, so the pallet positions along the deep side could be more than 30, which saves a lot of space in the warehouse a lot.

Radio Shuttle Pallet Racking Operation Flow
►The material handling links of product transportation and storage & retrieval are separated in the radio shuttle racking system.
►Shuttle cars are used in the high-density storage system to pick up and place pallet loads, while forklifts and people are used to move freight outside of the rack structure.
►Shuttle cars will receive orders and signals from a wireless remote control, including starts and stops. For instance, during product storage, a forklift will deposit a pallet load in the first bay position, which will subsequently be hoisted by a shuttle car and transferred to a certain location. In order to unload, a forklift will wait on the aisle and select the designated pallet load from the system.
