FIFO Carton Flow Warehouse Racking System for Industrial Efficient Storage
Carton flow warehouse rack, also known as live picking rack, consists of slightly inclined platforms with wheels and rollers. The cartons/containers are placed on the platform at the back and then slid forward for removal. This type of warehouse racking system requires loading lanes and picking lanes.

Features and benefits of carton flow warehouse racking:
When to choose carton flow warehouse racking:
Carton flow rack is a racking system designed for maximum usage of space depth, using a slightly inclined conveyor that allows cartons to move easily along a ramp. Carton flow racking systems are gravity-driven and are often equipped with motion and braking systems to control the speed of the moving stock.
Carton flow racks can be implemented with rack pallets or modules to compose new or existing orders, thus allowing both pallet flow and carton flow racks to be utilized in the same structural rack system. Ironstone’s carton flow racking system is a high-capacity gravity flow rack order handling system. This allows goods to be rotated on a first-in-first-out basis and makes them visible and accessible at all times.
The main advantage of carton flow racking over static racking systems is that stored items remain better organized and are easier to find or pick up. Goods are stored at the back of the carton flow racks and moved to the front pick-up station via an inclined shelf equipped with specially designed roller tracks. As one stored carton is removed from the pick-up station, the next carton rolls forward. Items can be collected and stored without disturbance and with less travel.
