         Costa Rican Logistics Company Again Relies On Ironstone To Expand Its Warehouse

Costa Logistics, one of Colombia's leading logistics operators with branches in major cities across the country, has once again turned to Ironstone Racking to expand its warehouse in Barranquilla. Ironstone Shelving, specialists in industrial storage solutions, installed an adjustable packaging racking system for double-deep pallets.

The company has relied on Ironstone racking to handle projects of more than 17,000 pallets over the past few years and has no hesitation in relying again on the storage systems experts to optimize the efficiency of its intralogistics.

This time the expansion is for a warehouse, which is in a strategic location given its port location and industrial activity. Ironstone Rack installed a double-depth adjustable pallet racking solution, producing 4,500 pallet positions over an area of 2,250 square meters. Ironstne Racking managing director explains: “In this system, pallets are stored at two depths, allowing for a higher storage density, while pallet access remains simple and relatively fast.”

The company’s logistics director added that the reason we commissioned Ironstone Racking again was because of “the direct and close relationship with the technical sales team, the recognized quality of its construction, and exceeding reasonable delivery deadlines”.
